I had a mixing masterclass session with a producer mentor Scrapkode today. The plan was simple: jump on Zoom and do a video call while screen sharing from my DAW Ableton.

We started the call but for some reason, we couldn’t get the audio to come through. I hit play on my DAW but no audio was coming through Zoom. We switched to Discord but my microphone randomly stopped working. Our Plan B was thwarted by the tech gremlins.

Luckily Scrapkode sent me a video link and a combination of this, a reboot and just good old fashioned fiddling about gave the much needed solution.

Here’s how you stream audio from your DAW to Zoom on a PC:

1. Download Voicemeeter Banana
